We usually have around thirty volunteers “on the books” but are always happy to welcome more, of any age. Most of the current volunteers do not have a military background, just an interest in local history, or aviation, or both. Some tend to specialise in a particular area or topic but others are happy to cover a broader spectrum, as suits the individual’s preferences and abilities. There is no requirement to attend every week although some level of regular commitment is desirable.
